After a wonderful time of worship, this morning’s look at Acts 5 v 17 - 42 had us focused on obedience. AJ Durling spoke about how this scripture gets us to ask ‘Who are we listening to?, Who do we fear? and What does obedience look like?’. AJ encourages us to focus on Jesus’ voice and learn His tone’, that often scripture points out that ‘the fruit of obedience comes at the culmination of obedience!’

‘And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4 v 12 AJ Durling speaks from Acts 4 v 1 -14 giving 4 practical pointers to help us deal with opposition in regard to ‘walking against the flow of the world’ and asks, amount other questions, ‘How do we take confidence from prophecy?’.

‘Cheeky prayers’ AJ speaks from 1Kings 18 v 41-45 encouraging and challenging us to pray specifically, earnestly, persistently and expectantly. ‘God is honoured when we pray for seemingly impossible things!’ and ‘Can you let go of the fear of unanswered prayers?’
